Pudina Chutney, also known as mint chutney or green chutney is the perfect friend for your breakfasts, snacks and things like pakora & samosa. Indian food is almost incomplete without pudina chutney. It tastes spicy, and hot and has the flavour of tangy mint also and pairs up with almost everything as I said.

Mint Leaves Benefits (chutney's main component)
Mint is a herb that is basically used in Ayurvedic practices, its nutritious values, and health benefits are very important.
Mint leaves have higher antioxidants and help to calm and cool the digestive tract of the body.
It is also a good source of iron, which is an essential nutrient for the body.
How to make Pudina Chutney

Take one cup of mint leaves (approx 15-20 gm), and rinse them well under running water.
Add half a cup of coriander leaves (rinsed well) into the mixer grinder with the rinsed mint leaves.

Add a small piece of garlic and a 1/4 inch ginger and 1-2 chillies.
1/2 teaspoon of sugar and 1/3 teaspoon salt also need to be used for its taste.

Now take some chilled thick yoghurt, but remember to use only 1 tablespoon, do not use it excessively at this stage.

Grind all the ingredients, until it gets smoother, But not too much over-grind it otherwise, it will make the chutney bitter in taste.

Now take the remaining yoghurt (around 1 cup), add 1/2 to 3/4 tablespoon roasted cumin powder and chat masala into it and stir well.

Now, add the mint chutney into the bowl and stir it once.

Now, it is ready to be served in a small container or bowl. Enjoy this thick, healthy, nutritious green chutney and follow me for more updates.
